Overview
Science can be advanced not only by conducting research directly, but also by providing other researchers with the tools and opportunities to support their work. This is particularly important in low- and middle-income countries, where financial resources for research are often limited.
Practical contribution
My main work outside my primary research fields is the design and development of Catchii, a completely free and virtually limitless literature-screening application for collaborative systematic/scoping/narrative reviews. By providing a strong alternative to leading paid platforms, Catchii can reduce costs for research institutions while saving researchers time through an intuitive interface designed to make literature screening more efficient.
